Jef Van Grieken was
born in Herenthout, Belgium, on July 29, 1950.
He studied at the academies of Antwerp and Mechelen
and obtained a degree at the High school of Antwerp.
As of 1975, Jef Van Grieken started participating
in several national and international exhibitions
including ‘Lectures & Demonstrations’
at the Smithsonian Institute (Washington, 1986)
and at The Fine Arts Museum, the largest modern
art museum in all of Asia (Taipei, 1991).
