Willy Peeters was born
in Turnhout in 1957. He lives and works in Heverlee
(near Louvain) From 1972 he took art classes at
the Sint-Lucas-Instituut in Brussels. He continued
higher education at the same school, from which
he graduated in Art with a specialization in sculpture.
Since 1983 he has worked as a self-employed artist
and his work is frequently on display in individual
exhibitions such as in Diest, Louvain, Turnhout,
Antwerp, Hoegaarden, Valkenswaard (NL) and Vaals
(NL). He has often participated in collective
exhibitions in Antwerp, Brussels, Louvain, Ghent,
Ostend, Hasselt, Sint-Martens-Latem, Knokke, or
abroad in Cadier, Keer and Vaals (NL), in Girona
(E), Luxemburg (L) and Cracow (PL).
