Underwriting   Lines of Business As a result of the strict application of our underwriting policy, Secura no longer writes reinsurance treaties emanating from Northern Europe (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland), Central Europe and Japan. Also, all aviation and satellite risks have been cancelled while reinsurance of Marine and Hail risks is only written if they are part of an overall business relation. Secura writes most other common lines of business, including life. Our speciality lies in treaty business written by ‘first line’ insurance risk carriers. We want to be as closely associated with the original clients as possible and strive to build up a continuous across-the-board relationship with them.
