Route Description By Car

From Leuven
• Via the E314-E40 towards Brussel-Centrum. At the roundabout on the Schumanplein, go right as far as the Kleine Ring. There you turn right (in the direction of Gent). It is best to keep in the centre lane until the IJzerplein /Sainctelette exit. Then you cross the canal. On the right-hand side is the Havenlaan.
• Via the E314-E40, drive to the Grote Ring and follow the direction Gent-Antwerpen. Take the first exit after the Vilvoorde viaduct (no. 6). Turn left as far as the canal. Do not cross the canal and turn right. Then drive past the Van Praetbrug, the royal palace domain and the Laekenbrug (on your left). Then you arrive in the Havenlaan.

From Antwerpen-Mechelen
• Via the E19, drive along the Grote Ring in the direction of Gent. Take the first exit after the Vilvoorde viaduct (no. 6). Turn left as far as the canal. Do not cross the canal and turn right. Then drive past the Van Praetbrug, the royal palace domain and the Laekenbrug (pass on the left). Then you arrive in the Havenlaan.
• Via the E19, drive along the Grote Ring in the direction of Gent. Take the ‘Koekelberg/Brussel’ exit. Then follow the Keizer Karellaan as far as the Koekelberg basilica. Enter the tunnel in the direction of the centre and take the ‘Saincteletteplein’ exit. At the traffic lights, before the canal, turn left into the Havenlaan.
• Via the A12, drive past the Castle of Laeken and then along the canal to the Havenlaan.

From Gent-Aalst
Drive via the E40 to Brussels. Then take the Keizer Karellaan as far as the Koekelberg basilica. Take the tunnel in the direction of the centre and take the ‘Saincteletteplein’ exit. At the traffic lights, before the canal, turn left into the Havenlaan.

From Halle
Drive via the E19 towards Brussels. Take exit 14 ‘Westland’ in the direction of ‘Prins van Luik’, continue via the E. Machtenslaan in the direction of the ‘Zwarte Vijvers’ to the Piersstraat as far as the Leopold II-laan, to reach the Havenlaan.
