Secura
encourages artistic expression. Each year, works
are bought of an artist we consider interesting.
At the Secura offices an exhibition is organized
to display the artist’s work.
2008: PAUL VANHEE
Paul Vanhee was born in
Tielt on 23 August 1947. He lives and works
in Hulste.
Paul has not received any artistic training.
The art of painting was brought to him through
life and his own merit. He is what we call an
autodidact.
His talent came pouring
out with an irresistible urge and this can be
seen in his works: they take us by surprise
with their impertinent lines and colours, with
their figures, often angular but sometimes delineated
in a flowing line, now figurative, then abstract,
rarely detailed but always - as their creator
- subtle and simple. Continue
