encourages artistic expression. Each year, works
are bought of an artist we consider interesting.
At the Secura offices an exhibition is organized
to display the artist’s work.
2007: JAN GORIS
Jan
Goris graduated with an Arts Degree from the Royal
Academy of Fine Arts of Brussels.
He attended the School of Arts at Braine l’Alleud,
the “Ateliers papier” of Mr. Harray.
From experience gained during encounters and exhibitions,
both in Belgium and abroad, Jan Goris has developed
a style that is personal and diverse at the same
time. This is illustrated in a number of disciplines
such as oil paintings and stained-glass windows.
His work shows a lyrical, contemplative and ethereal
abstraction.
Colours and movements get mixed up and invite
us to free interpretation and imaginary journeys.
